Course Description

Provides participants the skills and knowledge to use oxygen therapy, oxygen resuscitation, suction and major bleed equipment in an emergency situation.

Course Prerequisites

• Minimum 15 years old (on the day of the final assessment)
• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

Time Commitment

6 hours + 4.5 hours eLearning

Course Life Expiry

36 months from the date of assessment

How to Maintain Currency

• Keep CPR (HLTAID009) current every 12 months (coincides with Skills Maintenance sessions), plus
• Keep First Aid (HLTAID011) current, plus
• Complete an entire course every three years
