Silver Medallion Inflatable Rescue Boat Driver (IRBD)
          The IRB awards add to your skill set of advanced awards for patrolling, water safety and lifeguarding, and are prerequisite awards for Statewide Services such as Rescue Watercraft Operator Certificate.
          Course Description
          Provides participants with the skills and knowledge to drive an IRB in rescue operations effectively.
          Course Prerequisites
          
            - Must be a financial Club member prior to course registration
 
- Minimum 17 years old (on the day of the final assessment)
- Current Bronze Medallion
- Current Victorian Marine Licence
- Current Inflatable Rescue Boat Crew (IRBC)
- Logged 8 hours of operational IRB activity in a range of conditions in past 12 months*

          20 hours + logbook*

          Expires 31 December each year
          How to Maintain Currency
          An annual Skills Maintenance must be undertaken by 31st December to keep this award proficient.
